Configuration of the Java Runtime Environment [5b/6]

Information

The HiPath 4000 administration applications use internal caching of Java files (*.jar files) in order to reduce the start-up time of Java applets. The ACM application is installed in the next step of Client Preparation. It is recommended that you disable Temporary Files in the Java Configuration to prevent incorrect versions of applets from being started.

Configuration

1. Open the Java application in Control Panel on the Windows client. Go to Temporary Internet Files and click on Settings button.

   

2. Disable the 'Keep temporary files on my computer' checkbox.
3. Click on Delete Files to delete all Temporary Files.
